# TP vs iKey Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TP at 59% against iKey Connect's 6%. TP also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). iKey Connect's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TP holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TP has 662 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of TP's written reviews are positive against 6% of iKey Connect's.

TP ships an update every 10 days, iKey Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
