# Sumizeit vs FlashBooks

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sumizeit at free with in-app purchases against FlashBooks's subscription. Sumizeit also leads on ratings volume (282 vs 9). FlashBooks's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sumizeit sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and FlashBooks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashBooks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sumizeit has 282 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Sumizeit's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlashBooks's.
