# Sumizeit vs ReadLead

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sumizeit at 282 against ReadLead's 26. Sumizeit also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sumizeit sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and ReadLead sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sumizeit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sumizeit has 282 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Sumizeit's written reviews are positive against 83% of ReadLead's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sumizeit ships an update every 4 days, ReadLead every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
