# SriHome vs Metadrive2

The clearest difference is rating: SriHome at 2.4 against Metadrive2's 1.0. SriHome also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (60 vs 1). Metadrive2's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 14%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SriHome holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SriHome has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of SriHome's written reviews are positive against 25% of Metadrive2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SriHome ships an update every 3 weeks, Metadrive2 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
