# Driver Schedule vs Lytx Driver

The clearest difference is rating: Lytx Driver at 4.5 against Driver Schedule's 2.5. Lytx Driver also leads on ratings volume (455 vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Driver Schedule's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 27%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lytx Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lytx Driver has 455 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Driver Schedule's written reviews are positive against 27% of Lytx Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Driver Schedule ships an update monthly, Lytx Driver every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
