# SHUBiDU vs MyPDFScanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyPDFScanner at every 3 days against SHUBiDU's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHUBiDU sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MyPDFScanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHUBiDU ships an update every 6 weeks, MyPDFScanner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
