# Beyond Solar vs Star Force

Beyond Solar and Star Force both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 96% of Beyond Solar's written reviews are positive against 56% of Star Force's. Beyond Solar also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). Star Force's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 51) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beyond Solar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Star Force sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Beyond Solar against 4.9 for Star Force. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Star Force has 1.6K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of Beyond Solar's written reviews are positive against 56% of Star Force's.

Beyond Solar ships an update every 3 months, Star Force monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
