# ALOL vs Duono

The clearest difference is price: ALOL at Free against Duono's $2.99. ALOL also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (376 vs 1). Duono's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 41%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On device support there is nothing between them.

ALOL is free to download; Duono costs $2.99 up front. ALOL sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Duono asks for nothing beyond the download.

ALOL holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALOL has 376 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of ALOL's written reviews are positive against 83% of Duono's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ALOL ships an update every 3 days, Duono every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
