# ECOVACS HOME vs U Mower

The clearest difference is review sentiment: U Mower at 100% against ECOVACS HOME's 55%. U Mower also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ECOVACS HOME's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (59K vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ECOVACS HOME holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ECOVACS HOME has 59K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of ECOVACS HOME's written reviews are positive against 100% of U Mower's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ECOVACS HOME ships an update every 3 weeks, U Mower every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
