# Sahafa vs TRT Arabi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TRT Arabi at none against Sahafa's 4. TRT Arabi also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Sahafa's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 42%) and ratings volume (340 vs 16). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sahafa sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TRT Arabi asks for nothing beyond the download.

TRT Arabi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sahafa has 340 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Sahafa's written reviews are positive against 42% of TRT Arabi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sahafa ships an update every 5 months, TRT Arabi every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
