# flydubai vs Ride Skipper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ride Skipper at 100% against flydubai's 39%. flydubai's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (9.1K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

flydubai holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: flydubai has 9.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of flydubai's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ride Skipper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

flydubai ships an update every 3 weeks, Ride Skipper every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
