# recteq vs EGG Genius

The clearest difference is rating: recteq at 4.8 against EGG Genius's 4.6. recteq also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 2.3K) and review sentiment (32% vs 22%). EGG Genius's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

recteq holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6.
