# recteq vs Weber Connect

The clearest difference is rating: recteq at 4.8 against Weber Connect's 4.6. recteq also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 3.2K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

recteq holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: recteq has 25K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 31% and 31% positive.
