# recteq vs GMG Prime App

The clearest difference is rating: recteq at 4.8 against GMG Prime App's 3.3. recteq also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 186). GMG Prime App's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 31%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

recteq holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: recteq has 25K ratings behind it against 186, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of recteq's written reviews are positive against 58% of GMG Prime App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

recteq ships an update every 5 weeks, GMG Prime App every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
