# recteq vs Local Keto

The clearest difference is rating: recteq at 4.8 against Local Keto's 3.1. recteq also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (25K vs 10). Local Keto's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

recteq holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: recteq has 25K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of recteq's written reviews are positive against 50% of Local Keto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

recteq ships an update every 5 weeks, Local Keto every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
