# recteq vs Process Expo

The clearest difference is ads: recteq at none against Process Expo's shown. Process Expo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

recteq ships an update every 5 weeks, Process Expo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
