# recteq vs BBQHelp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BBQHelp at 100% against recteq's 32%. BBQHelp also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). recteq's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BBQHelp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: recteq has 25K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of recteq's written reviews are positive against 100% of BBQHelp's.
