# recteq vs Strip

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: recteq at none against Strip's 1. recteq also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Strip's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. recteq asks for nothing beyond the download.

Strip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: recteq has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
