# Touch Cinema vs POPS

The clearest difference is rating: Touch Cinema at 5.0 against POPS's 4.3. Touch Cinema also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). POPS's advantage is ratings volume (840 vs 1) and review sentiment (35% vs 14%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. POPS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Touch Cinema asks for nothing beyond the download.

Touch Cinema holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POPS has 840 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Touch Cinema's written reviews are positive against 35% of POPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Touch Cinema ships an update every 2 months, POPS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
