# V vs Things

The clearest difference is update cadence: Things at every 3 weeks against V's every 10 months. V's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V ships an update every 10 months, Things every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
