# Mobile Master vs State

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: State at none against Mobile Master's 3. State also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Mobile Master's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and review sentiment (72% vs 59%). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. State asks for nothing beyond the download.

State holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Master has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Mobile Master's written reviews are positive against 59% of State's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobile Master ships an update every 6 days, State every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
