# M Editor vs QingMo

The clearest difference is update cadence: QingMo at every 3 weeks against M Editor's every 6 months. M Editor's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. M Editor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QingMo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

M Editor ships an update every 6 months, QingMo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
