# Videdit vs Card.Note

The clearest difference is price: Card.Note at Free against Videdit's $0.99. Card.Note also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Videdit's advantage is ratings volume (645 vs 81) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Card.Note is free to download; Videdit costs $0.99 up front. Videdit sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Card.Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Card.Note holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Videdit has 645 ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Videdit's written reviews are positive against 79% of Card.Note's.

Videdit ships an update every 5 weeks, Card.Note every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
