# TELLO vs Drocon Fly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Drocon Fly at 67% against TELLO's 31%. Drocon Fly also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). TELLO's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (800 vs 22). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TELLO holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TELLO has 800 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of TELLO's written reviews are positive against 67% of Drocon Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TELLO ships an update every 2 months, Drocon Fly every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
