# Ghost'n Brothers vs Super Hydorah

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Super Hydorah at 669 against Ghost'n Brothers's 8. Super Hydorah also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Ghost'n Brothers's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and price ($0.99 vs $4.99). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Ghost'n Brothers costs $0.99 and Super Hydorah $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Super Hydorah holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Hydorah has 669 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Ghost'n Brothers's written reviews are positive against 86% of Super Hydorah's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ghost'n Brothers ships an update monthly, Super Hydorah every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
