# PowerFlex vs AmpUp

The clearest difference is rating: PowerFlex at 4.8 against AmpUp's 4.4. AmpUp's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 21%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PowerFlex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.3K and 4.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of PowerFlex's written reviews are positive against 37% of AmpUp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PowerFlex ships an update fortnightly, AmpUp every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
