# FYD Drone vs Ghost Finder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FYD Drone at none against Ghost Finder's 5. FYD Drone also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). Ghost Finder's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghost Finder sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. FYD Drone asks for nothing beyond the download.

FYD Drone holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost Finder has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FYD Drone ships an update every 2 months, Ghost Finder fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
