# MagiConnect T vs Smartnet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smartnet at none against MagiConnect T's 2. Smartnet also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). MagiConnect T's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagiConnect T sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Smartnet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smartnet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagiConnect T has 2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
