# Cleer Connect vs Baseus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cleer Connect at 100% against Baseus's 25%. Cleer Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 22) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Baseus's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (320 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseus sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Cleer Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Baseus holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseus has 320 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Cleer Connect's written reviews are positive against 25% of Baseus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cleer Connect ships an update monthly, Baseus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
