# Pixomatic vs Magic Eraser

Pixomatic and Magic Eraser both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Magic Eraser's written reviews are positive against 26% of Pixomatic's. Pixomatic's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 1.7K) and chart position (#186 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixomatic sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Magic Eraser sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Pixomatic against 4.6 for Magic Eraser. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixomatic has 26K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 26% of Pixomatic's written reviews are positive against 86% of Magic Eraser's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
