# Lichtspeer vs Maneater

The clearest difference is price: Lichtspeer at $0.99 against Maneater's $10.99. Lichtspeer also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (534 vs 23). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Lichtspeer costs $0.99 and Maneater $10.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lichtspeer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lichtspeer has 534 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Lichtspeer's written reviews are positive against 67% of Maneater's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lichtspeer ships an update fortnightly, Maneater every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
