# IdeaPad vs MindNode

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IdeaPad at none against MindNode's 2. IdeaPad also leads on iOS requirement (11.2 vs 18.0). MindNode's advantage is ratings volume (316 vs 12) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindNode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. IdeaPad asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for IdeaPad against 4.6 for MindNode. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MindNode has 316 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.
