# K vs idoki

The clearest difference is rating: K at 4.7 against idoki's 4.2. K also leads on ratings volume (7.6K vs 6). idoki's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (80% vs 66%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. K sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and idoki sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

K holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: K has 7.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of K's written reviews are positive against 80% of idoki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

K ships an update every 2 weeks, idoki every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
