# Milestone vs 248 Scribble

The clearest difference is update cadence: 248 Scribble at every 14 months against Milestone's every 49 months. Milestone's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Milestone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 248 Scribble sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Milestone ships an update every 49 months, 248 Scribble every 14 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
