# FayPD vs PSWD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FayPD at none against PSWD's 4. FayPD also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). PSWD's advantage is ratings volume (153 vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PSWD sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. FayPD asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FayPD against 4.9 for PSWD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSWD has 153 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FayPD ships an update every 3 months, PSWD monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
