# Mightier vs Truthbrush

The clearest difference is monetization model: Truthbrush at free against Mightier's subscription. Truthbrush also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Truthbrush holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 267 and 694 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Mightier's written reviews are positive against 52% of Truthbrush's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mightier ships an update every 2 months, Truthbrush every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
