# Mightier vs Brain Balance

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brain Balance at 100% against Mightier's 54%. Brain Balance also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Mightier's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (275 vs 18). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mightier holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mightier has 275 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Mightier's written reviews are positive against 100% of Brain Balance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
