# Bedside Clock vs Time Clock

The clearest difference is ads: Time Clock at none against Bedside Clock's shown. Time Clock also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Bedside Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bedside Clock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Time Clock sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Bedside Clock against 4.5 for Time Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bedside Clock has 3.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bedside Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, Time Clock every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
