# Bedside Clock vs Alarm ®

The clearest difference is ads: Alarm ® at none against Bedside Clock's shown. Bedside Clock's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 111) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bedside Clock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Alarm ® sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Bedside Clock against 4.4 for Alarm ®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bedside Clock has 3.6K ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bedside Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, Alarm ® every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
