# Soma NPT vs Beyond+

The clearest difference is rating: Beyond+ at 4.0 against Soma NPT's 2.8. Beyond+ also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Soma NPT's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soma NPT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month and Beyond+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beyond+ holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Soma NPT's written reviews are positive against 50% of Beyond+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Soma NPT ships an update weekly, Beyond+ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
