# CHRONGRAPH vs Magic

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Magic at 819 against CHRONGRAPH's 3. Magic also leads on chart position (#187 vs unranked). CHRONGRAPH's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.3 for CHRONGRAPH against 2.3 for Magic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic has 819 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of CHRONGRAPH's written reviews are positive against 30% of Magic's.

CHRONGRAPH ships an update every 2 months, Magic every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
