# InnoCaption vs Control HA App

The clearest difference is update cadence: InnoCaption at weekly against Control HA App's every 10 months. InnoCaption also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Control HA App's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

InnoCaption holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InnoCaption has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of InnoCaption's written reviews are positive against 100% of Control HA App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InnoCaption ships an update weekly, Control HA App every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
