# Snap vs HRK

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HRK at 75% against Snap's 30%. HRK also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Snap's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (768 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snap holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap has 768 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Snap's written reviews are positive against 75% of HRK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snap ships an update every 2 months, HRK fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
