# Snap vs ARMS (Mobile)

The clearest difference is monetization model: ARMS (Mobile) at free against Snap's free with in-app purchases. ARMS (Mobile) also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Snap's advantage is ratings volume (771 vs 14). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Snap against 4.7 for ARMS (Mobile). That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap has 771 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snap ships an update every 2 months, ARMS (Mobile) fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
