# Snap vs TireView LIVE™

The clearest difference is monetization model: TireView LIVE™ at free against Snap's free with in-app purchases. TireView LIVE™ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Snap's advantage is ratings volume (768 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TireView LIVE™ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap has 768 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snap ships an update every 2 months, TireView LIVE™ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
