# Snap vs Frankman Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: Frankman Connect at free against Snap's free with in-app purchases. Frankman Connect also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Snap's advantage is ratings volume (768 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Frankman Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap has 768 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snap ships an update every 2 months, Frankman Connect every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
