# Obr vs Booking Advisors

The clearest difference is monetization model: Obr at free against Booking Advisors's free with in-app purchases. Obr also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 383) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Booking Advisors's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 65%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Obr against 4.6 for Booking Advisors. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Obr has 13K ratings behind it against 383, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Obr's written reviews are positive against 79% of Booking Advisors's.

Obr ships an update monthly, Booking Advisors every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
