# Obr vs Hero

The clearest difference is rating: Obr at 4.7 against Hero's 3.0. Obr also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Obr holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Obr has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Obr ships an update monthly, Hero every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
