# Pas de panique ! vs Self

Pas de panique ! and Self are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Pas de panique ! sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and Self sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pas de panique ! ships an update every 4 days, Self every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
