# Canon Mini Print vs PicScratch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Canon Mini Print at none against PicScratch's 1. Canon Mini Print also leads on ratings volume (97K vs 58) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). PicScratch's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 65%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicScratch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Canon Mini Print asks for nothing beyond the download.

Canon Mini Print holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canon Mini Print has 97K ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Canon Mini Print's written reviews are positive against 75% of PicScratch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Canon Mini Print ships an update every 3 months, PicScratch every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
